Sharon is the Manager and CFO. Starting off as a Tax Analyst for Chevron Corporation in 1980, preparing returns for expatriate executives and providing audit representation and technical support for over 1000 expatriate employees. From there, she moved on to KPMG, Manager, International Executive Tax Service. In 1995, she branched out on her own and formed Alamo Tax Service. Tax Preparation has been her passion since 1975 when she took her first tax class at Golden Gate University.

Sharon, Enrolled to Practice before the Internal Revenue Service is a Fellow, National Tax Practitioners' Institute,and is a Past President of the Alamo Chamber of Commerce and is currently Vice President, East Bay Association of Enrolled Agents

Mary has been a tax preparer with Alamo since 2005. She specializes in taxpayers in the transportation industry, including merchant marines, truck drivers and airline pilots. She helps clients understand and navigate the special rules for people on the move and has developed a gift for understanding the unique tax rules in all 50 states. As a result of her expertise in this area, each tax season she welcomes new clients who have been referred by their colleagues. She previously served as a project manager for a computer software firm.

With a bachelor's degree in accounting and 30+ years of experience, Debbie serves as the lead accounting person for Alamo and oversees our bookkeeping services. She is a certified QuickBooks^TM Pro Advisor.Starting her career doing the books for her husband's truck repair business, Debbie quickly added other clients and worked several tax seasons with H&R Block. Debbie had a diverse accounting background in the public sector and with nonprofits before joining Abacus in 2007. Along with her accounting background is an enthusiasm for "cloud computing," Debbie strives to ensure quality customized accounting services for our broad range of clients. Debbie takes the pain out of bookkeeping.

Yes, Roberta is still with us. Ma Mo still rules the front desk in Alamo and has been making your appointments since 2000. Roberta is the voice of Alamo Tax and our ambassador of good will. Roberta is in Alamo through May and then heads for Wisconsin for the summer.

Dianna was our original office manager in 1995. After a few changes in occupation, and additional schooling, Dianna now manages our new Manteca, CA office and is also our bookkeeper. She too, is a QuickBooks Certified Pro Advisor, providing training and bookkeeping setup services in the central valley.

Gail worked for the Chevron Corporation for 35 years while running a tax practice. She was a supervisor in the Chevron Expatriate tax group and Sharon's boss. Gail offers tax service for individuals in all 50 states and foreign locations.
